The JobDocs session cookie
Cookie name: jobdocs_session. Purpose: maintaining your session, signing you in, protecting submitted forms against forgery and carrying short-lived notices or restored form entries between pages. It is a first-party session cookie with no persistent expiry; the browser normally removes it when the session ends, although browser session restoration may retain session cookies. Server sessions are configured with a four-hour inactivity lifetime, subject to server cleanup. On the production HTTPS site it is marked Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax.
Why no optional-cookie banner appears
Essential login and requested-service security cookies do not require optional-cookie consent. We still explain their use here. The supplied application does not set optional advertising or analytics cookies and does not load a third-party tracking script. If we introduce optional storage/access technology requiring consent, it will remain off until you make a choice.
Other services
Following a payment link takes you to PayPal or another enabled payment provider. That provider controls cookies on its own pages. If Cloudflare security challenges or additional hosting features are enabled, their necessary security cookies may also be used. Their use depends on the service configuration; they are not advertising cookies added by JobDocs.
Your browser controls
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the session cookie can prevent login, account confirmation forms, password resets and document changes. Signing out ends the authenticated session; deleting the cookie also removes your browser’s session reference.
