SITE-SPECIFIC RISK ASSESSMENTS

Your next risk assessment starts with the job, not a blank page.

Electrical installation, plumbing repairs, roofing or refurbishment: start with relevant work content, then assess what could harm people on your actual site. Save, review and issue a clear PDF with your business branding.

01

Choose the assessment your job needs.

Use the standalone risk assessment builder when you need a hazard and control assessment on its own. Use the RAMS generator when the client also needs a method statement and ordered work sequence. Both tools use the same structured hazard editor, with editable wording and ratings you assess for the job.

02

Identify the hazard. Make the controls practical.

For each hazard, record what could go wrong, who could be harmed and the controls needed. Include other trades, visitors and the public where relevant. Hazard prompts help you get started; you decide which hazards apply and complete the site-specific arrangements.

03

See initial and residual risk clearly.

Enter likelihood and severity on a five-point scale before and after the planned controls. JobDocs calculates the scores as you work. Ratings are not pre-approved: check whether the controls are suitable and achievable, and review the work if circumstances change.

04

Make repeat jobs easier to prepare.

Reuse a trade starter or save your own work content as a preset. Your next assessment still needs its own site details and ratings. Keep equipment, competence, PPE, permits, emergency arrangements and review responsibilities with the assessment.

05

Send the right version to the right person.

Issue a fixed version after review, download the branded PDF or create a private download link for a client or site manager. Links can expire or be revoked. When the work changes, prepare a revision without overwriting the version already issued.

06

One account for the rest of the paperwork.

Keep COSHH assessments, RAMS, toolbox talk records and H&S forms in the same company workspace. Complete plans include all five tools, with unlimited documents and the same account branding. Tool permissions can also be controlled individually.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

Straightforward answers.

All FAQs
Can I create a risk assessment without a method statement?

Yes. The risk assessment builder creates a standalone assessment with hazards, people at risk, controls and initial and residual ratings. The RAMS generator combines that assessment with a method statement. Complete plans include both tools.

What tools are included in Complete?

Risk assessments, RAMS, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks and H&S forms. Toolbox talks include 16 editable topics, and H&S forms include eight record starters. Documents are unlimited for the tools enabled on your account.

What documents can I create with JobDocs?

The current tools are the RAMS generator and COSHH assessment builder. RAMS combines a risk assessment and method statement. COSHH records substance or process exposure, evidence, controls and review arrangements. Each tool must be enabled on your account.

Are documents unlimited?

Yes. You can create unlimited documents with the tools included in your active plan or granted access. There is no document credit counter. Uploaded logos and source PDFs have separate storage allowances shown in the workspace.
